How does
TravelPass work?

You can manage your TravelPass preference in your
My Verizon account’s add-ons settings.

  • Pay only on days you use.

    The TravelPass daily fee will only be deducted from your balance
    when you begin a TravelPass session.     You can always add funds in
    My Verizon to make sure you’re covered on your trip and beyond.

  • Enjoy 24-hour sessions.

    When you travel outside the U.S., you’ll receive a free welcome
    message text.     Your 24-hour TravelPass session won't begin until
    you make or receive a phone call, send a text or use data.

  • Get unlimited data.

    TravelPass gives you 2 GB of high-speed data each day. After that, you’ll
    have unlimited data at 3G speeds for the remainder of your TravelPass
    session.     You can buy more high-speed data if you want.

La mayoría de los dispositivos World con HD Voice son compatibles con TravelPass. But Prepaid data-only devices aren't compatible with TravelPass at this time.

Note: If TravelPass is not listed in your available features, you may not be eligible for it. Es posible que tengas que actualizar a un dispositivo World Prepaid y/o cambiarte a un plan mensual elegible.

You’re only charged on days you use your device in a TravelPass country:

  • $5/día en México y Canada.
    • Note: Calling, texting and data use in Mexico and Canada are included at no extra cost when you have our 15 GB, Unlimited or Unlimited Plus prepaid mobile phone plans.
  • $10/día en otros países de TravelPass.

Solo se te cobrará 1 sesión si:

  • Tienes una escala en otro país de camino a tu destino final dentro de la misma sesión de 24 horas.
  • Viajas dentro de la misma sesión de 24 horas a 2 países que tengan el mismo cargo diario de TravelPass.
    • Nota: Se te cobrará un nuevo cargo diario y se iniciará una nueva sesión de TravelPass si viajas a 2 países que tienen diferentes cargos diarios de TravelPass (por ejemplo, de un país que cuesta $5 a un país que cuesta $10).

Es bueno saberlo: No es necesario eliminar TravelPass de la línea después del viaje. There are no charges when you're in the U.S.
