Paper thing handle bar speak holder. It breaks

If you planing to use this on a bicycle don’t waste your money. The handle bar holder for the speaker is made of thin plastic and it keeps breaking. I’m on my 3rd one now. Very poor design. I had the 2 before and the holder was far better than the 3. Crap design.

Poor mount bike quality

After two rides the mount broke and send a message to the support and is not possible to get a new one. I cannot find anything else to hold the speaker to the bike.

Works well sounds good

Overall I like this item. Because I am lazy, I haven't mounted it on my bike or motorcycle yet. I have used it though, blue tooth and radio. I especially wanted a radio, it works good, but I wish it got better reception. That's really my only complaint keeping me from a full five stars. The double click controls took me minute to figure out but I did. Sound it great.

Great speaker- but breaks too easily

The product is awesome in theory- I actually love it however the piece that you snap on to the mount breaks way too easily (I’ve had it happen to me twice now and I’m not going to buy a 3rd speaker) so that part is pretty frustrating :(

Mounted on my handlebars, turned on the tunes, left the driveway and the mount broke two blocks away. To my knowledge corporate JBL refuses to address this design flaw.

Lacks detail on FM functions

While the quick start guide explains how to use the FM radio to the preset stations, there is no explanation on how to program/add/remove a preset station.

Thank you for your question. Preset Stations for our JBL Wind 3 cannot be programmed, added, or removed manually; instead, they are linked with auto scan, and once a station is scanned, it is immediately saved to preset.

Terrible Mount!

The mount is the whole point to me and the mount is absolute garbage. Probably got a couple weeks of rides out of it before it snapped.

would it be loud enough for a motorcycle

Our JBL Wind 3 is recommended for usage with bicycles. It is not to be used for motorcycles as the volume is not loud enough to be heard over the ignition. You may check our JBL Cruise as this speaker is designed for motorcycles.

Thanks for your question. Our JBL Wind 3 supports a TF/SD with a max storage of 32G. It supports the following audio formats; WAV & MP3 with a max bit depth 16bit.

Hello- There are two conflicting answers from customer support about maximum compatible card size: 32 & 64GB. Which one is correct? Thank you.

Our JBL Wind 3 supports a 32GB microSD card. However, some tests show that a 64GB or more works with the speaker.

If I was you I will stick with 32/64gb because you will have plenty of room on you card for your songs. Since this player do not read file over 16bit (it does not take hi resolution files), it would be overkill to have more than 64gb micro sd. I filled mine with more than 300 lossless wav files and it took only 1.6gb on my memory card. Hope it wil help!

Our JBL Wind 3 doesn't read or support FLAC files. However, it supports more playback possibilities, such as FM radio, AUX in, and TF/microSD media playback. For TF/SD cards, it supports 32G max, supports WAV and MP3 audio formats, and supports a max bit depth of 16bit.

How to change FM tuning range? I purchased a JBL Wind 3 in Japan, but have moved to Australia, how can I enable the full FM tuning range?

Thanks for your inquiry. To access the FM tuning range in your current location with your JBL Wind 3, begin by pressing the Source button. Then, press and hold both the Tune Up and Tune Down buttons to initiate an automatic search for all available stations and save the presets for your convenience. However, please note that due to your unit being purchased in Japan, there will be limitations on the FM range available for scanning. To be specific, it will range from 76.1～94.9MHz.

I have test a samsung 512gb micro sd card and also a samsung 128gb (currently using it) and both works perfectly. Also tested, lossless wav 44khz/16bit files only and works perfectly.
