I have been using the Ultrahuman ring for over a month now and love it!
I got a sizing kit first to make sure that I ordered the right size. Found the kit very helpful in picking the right size. I was torn between size 7 and 8 and went the kit helped me decide.
So what do I like about the ring?
1. Gives me good details about my fitness (steps, heart rate, etc.) With good accuracy. I use the ring along with my Samsung watch and the data is quite consistent. I use it during my workouts and have compared the details this provides with the details recorded by my watch and they are quite consistent. The watch enabled me to leave my phone at home for workouts, and now the ring enables me to even leave the watch home (although I don't ... I wear both).
2. Gives me timely reminders that help me manage my day better. For example, tells me when my window to have coffee is closing so I get the best quality sleep - serves as a good reminder. It tells me when I should move in case I've been sitting too long in my chair for work.
3. The sleep related reminders and statistics are particularly helpful for me since my doctor has told me to get more sleep as a way to help keep my blood pressure in check
4. Very handy app that has good point in time, daily and weekly summaries (see screenshots)
5. Very hardy - I've kept my ring on during my workouts, doing dishes, washing hands, showering, doing yard work and essentially all daily activities. It has been functioning fine through all of these activities.
6. Looks good. I wear it on my index finger on the left hand. my wedding ring is on my ring finger. I find that I don't like to wear it on my middle finger because I don't like the feel of the two rings touching.
7. Holds charge well. I find myself charging the ring every 3-4 days and typically do it when I am in office because that's the time when I am just sitting in my chair. The charger uses a standard USB C cable which is handy because I can use it to charge my phone as well
8. No scratches so far. After almost two months of usage. This has been surprising. I fully expected some scratches to show up by this time. Clearly, they use high quality materials.
What don't I like?
Not much on this list, but here goes:
1. The ring leaves a white discoloration on my skin when I keep it on for too long (over a day). So I try to temporarily move it to a different finger , or slide it up and down my index finger to prevent it from happening.
2. I had trouble initially connecting the ring to the app. But the support team was super helpful and helped me resolve the issue quickly and fully. I haven't had any connectivity issues since.

The ring itself is pretty comfortable and looks great. The Gold color is noticeable yet quite subtle, looking polished and posh overall. It's lightweight and feels like a sophisticated accessory to have with me. The battery life is excellent and generally matches what the company claims. The Ultrahuman app shows a lot of data points which are helpful but could use a bit of streamlining and simplification (ex: focus on the most important data points and show them upfront).
