You can buy a Stream TV device online or in a Verizon store.
You need a Verizon wireless or Verizon Fios Internet account to purchase or rent VOD titles, but a Stream TV device will work with almost any internet service.
To use a Stream TV device you need a TV or monitor with an HDMI connection.

As part of your initial setup, you will be asked to establish your Wi-Fi connection while following the on-screen prompts.

The lights on the front of your Stream TV signals whether the device is On (White) or Off (Red).

To download a new app, select the + symbol at the end of your apps rail to access the Google Play Store.

To remove or reorder an app:
- Highlight the app and hold down the OK button on the remote.
- Select Move to reorder or Remove from favorites to remove.
Note: Certain apps may be permanently pinned your Favorites rail and cannot be moved or removed.

If you have automatic updates turned off on your Stream TV device, you'll need to:
- Go to Settings.
- Select View More.
- Go to Advanced Settings from the Settings menu.
- Select Upgrade Bluetooth remote.
If your remote does not sync to your TV volume during the initial setup or as part of a subsequent software update, you can perform the sync manually.
- Select Advanced Settings from the Settings menu.
- Select Configure Stream TV remote from the Advanced Settings menu.
- Hit the Begin button from the Configure Stream TV remote screen.
- Wait for the hardware configuration to complete and follow the on-screen prompts to confirm successful configuration.
Note: Depending on your current remote firmware, you may first be prompted to update your current version.

To use your smartphone as a remote for Stream TV device, you'll need to first download the Android TV Remote Controls app available in the Apple® App Store® and Google Play™ Store.
Once you've downloaded the Remote Controls app, visit Stream TV - Set Up Remote Control App to learn how to use your smartphone as a remote for Stream TV device.
To change the language on your remote:
- Go to Settings.
- Select View More.
- Select Device Preferences from the Settings menu.
- Select Language.
If you get an error screen while your Stream TV is updating, perform a factory reset. Visit Stream TV - Factory Data Reset (Powered On) to learn how.
If the factory reset does not fix the issue, contact us.
If an app will not open try clearing the app cache on your Stream TV or Stream TV Sound bar. Visit the instructions below to learn how.

If you need to replace a defective remote, contact us.
You may return any equipment or devices you purchased from us for any reason within 14 days of purchase. You may also return any Defective Equipment to us within 1 year of Equipment purchase or activation, whichever is earlier. If you return Equipment, we may replace it with a new or refurbished item, or we may refund payment to you. Contact us before you return any defective equipment.

What can I do if my Stream TV remote is lost or it stops working after I have had it for more than one year?
The Stream TV remote control is not available for standalone purchase.
If your remote is lost or broken you can use your smartphone as a remote control with the Stream TV app. Visit Stream TV - Set Up Remote Control App to learn how.
If you want another physical remote control you’ll need to buy another Stream TV device.
You can report an issue through the Stream TV set top box, by going to Help > Support > Report a Problem.
You can bring a Stream TV device to a Verizon store* for recycling:
- Run a factory data reset to clear your personal account information, before recycling your Stream TV device.
- Visit our Recycling your streaming device page for details.
- Keep in mind - Recycling is for devices that are outside of our 30-day return policy.
*Residents of Washington, D.C. can mail these to Verizon for recycling: Amazon Fire Stick, Google Chromecast, Roku, Stream TV device.
