Verizon Dollars FAQs

Verizon Dollars are rewards you get for having Verizon Mobile and/or Verizon Home Internet (Wireless) and paying your entire monthly Verizon Mobile bill on time each month.* After you join, get 3% back on your total Verizon Mobile bill each month. This includes your service(s), new phones — even taxes and fees on your Mobile bill. Get even more Verizon Dollars when you're a Verizon Visa CardⓇ holder.

*Other Verizon services, including Verizon Fios Home Internet and prepaid services, are not eligible for Verizon Dollars.

You can use your Verizon Dollars for:*

• New phones, tablets or smartwatches.
• Accessories including cases and chargers.
• Gift cards from participating merchants (beginning 7/1/26).
• Hotels and resorts through the Verizon Travel portal in the My Verizon app (beginning 7/1/26).
• As a Verizon Visa Card holder, you can apply Verizon Dollars to your Verizon Mobile bill. Starting 6/30/26, you can also apply them toward your Verizon Visa Card bill.

*You can't sell, transfer or trade your Verizon Dollars for cash.

You're eligible to get Verizon Dollars if you have a standard monthly mobile plan or a Verizon Home Internet (Wireless) monthly plan* and you sign up on the My Verizon app.

*Other Verizon services, including Verizon Fios Home Internet and Prepaid services are not eligible for Verizon Dollars.

No, you don't need to be a Verizon Visa Card holder to sign up and begin receiving Verizon Dollars.

No, you can't sell, transfer, or trade your Verizon Dollars.

Your account holds your Verizon Dollars balance. As long as you maintain one active, eligible Verizon service (like Mobile or Home Internet), you don't forfeit your Dollars.

Sign up through the My Verizon app to start receiving your Verizon Dollars.* If you have a Verizon Visa Card, we register you automatically.

Open the My Verizon app:

1. Tap the Me tab.
2. Look under Verizon Loyalty.

When you pay your full bill on time, your Verizon Dollars become available in your My Verizon app about 10 days after the bill period ends.

Program earning starts with bills dated 7/1/26 and later. Bill dates prior to 7/1/26 will not be eligible.

The system uses the Verizon Dollars that are expiring first. This helps you keep your Verizon Dollars longer.

Only Verizon Visa Card holders can apply their Verizon Dollars to their Verizon Mobile bill by setting up Auto Redeem in the Verizon Visa Card app. This feature automatically uses your rewards to pay your Verizon Mobile bill every month.

Yes, you can redeem available Verizon Dollars as a statement credit toward your Visa Card balance (beginning 6/30/26).

To redeem rewards for a statement credit, visit the Verizon Visa Card app (available through an app store on your mobile device) or Synchrony Account Manager:

Log into Verizon Visa app:

1. Select Go to Account.
2. Select Rewards Balance to select your amount.

Log into Synchrony Account Manager:

1. Select Redeem to select your amount.

Important:

• Verizon Dollar redemption for statement credits applied to your Verizon Visa Card account are final and non-refundable.
• Statement credits may take up to 3 business days to post to your account.
• Statement credits will reduce your balance, but you are still required to make at least your minimum payment.

Yes, your Verizon Dollars can expire:

• If you're not a Verizon Visa Card holder - Your Verizon Dollars expire 12 months after you get them.
• If you're a Verizon Visa Card holder - There's no expiration on Verizon Dollars, but they'll be forfeited if your account has 24 consecutive months of program inactivity. "Program activity" means either getting or spending any Verizon Dollars.

You must pay your bill on time and in full to get Verizon Dollars. If you pay late or only pay part of your bill, you won’t get any Verizon Dollars for that month.

No, if your account is suspended, you can't spend your Verizon Dollars until it is reinstated.
