Terrible GPS and battery life

I bought this watch as a replacement for my aging Galaxy Watch 3. It has been glitchy since day one. The GPS tracking is terrible. I have used Samsung products and Samsung health to track my running for years. I have been running the same routes for years. The distance and pace on the Galaxy watch 4 had been inconsistent at best. It often tracks me as running through a yard or the water. I have tried all the tricks to make the GPS more accurate, but nothing has helped. I never had this issue with my Galaxy 2. I don't want to give up my Samsung Health, as I have used it for several years, but am now looking at other brands because of how consistently bad this watch has been.

Have had it for over a year and loved it but it's acting up now

I've had this watch for over a year now and have loved it, but now it's starting to die real quick. I charge it everyday and the passed couple of days it's not even lasting the whole day. I hope it's just a fluke and will start working properly as I have 17 more payments to make.

Your Galaxy Watch4 and the Galaxy Watch5 models come with their own power saving mode. When enabled, this mode will limit several options in order to save battery life, such as Always On Display, Wi-Fi, and screen brightness. You can also turn on Watch only mode. 1. Trip detection measurement software is not intended for use in the diagnosis of disease or other conditions, or in the cure, mitigation, treatment or prevention of disease. Trip detection recognizes falls when engaged in dynamic motion, not when still. Requires network connection to notify emergency contact. GPS accuracy may be affected by obstructions to satellite signals such as buildings.
2. Requires Samsung Galaxy smartphone with Android 7 or later and Samsung Health Monitor app (available only at the Samsung Galaxy app store).
3. The ECG Monitor app is not intended to replace traditional methods of diagnosis or treatment and is for information purposes only. The ECG Monitor app is not intended for users with known arrhythmias other than atrial fibrillation or users under 22 years old. Users should not interpret or take clinical action based on the device without consultation of a qualified healthcare professional.

If you only watch it, you can't use it as a standalone watch. It has to be by your phone at all times meaning that if your phone dies you can't use your watch if you flick your phone at home. You still can't use your watch so for my opinion.It's not a good watch. And the fact that nobody even told me about it really upset me more.

Second galaxy watch that stopped working

As the title says this is the second galaxy watch that just died. I tried all the suggestions online. The watch won't charge and I can't reset it. I am reluctant to buy another galaxy watch at this point.

Stopped Working

I loved my Samsung Watch when I first bought it. Four months ago I started getting a 911 message which I now know means the watch is overheated. Suddenly.I had trouble charging my watch. At Christmas I thought I was going to need to replace the watch. I had a different wireless charger and was able to charge. Last month I began receiving the same 911 messages (overheating). I let it cool down and was able to use another wireless charger, but it would lose power quickly. After a few days it stopped charging. When I contacted Samsung, they said it must have water damage. It's supposed to be waterproof!!

First one I ordered over heated a lot purchased a new one that one over heated and battery life lasts maybe 3-4 hrs tops. Not a good buy. Waste of money

BATTERY LIFE IS TRUELY HORRIBLE!!!

I got this watch over a year ago. I read the reviews about the battery but bought it out right because I wanted to try it out. Big mistake! I hardly ever use it because it want stay charged long enough to even use it! I would charge it up on the way to work, i would get there at 8 and it would be dying my 12 if not sooner! Absolutely loved my apple watch and will be switching by the all Apple products very very soon! Trust me when I say this don't waste your time on this watch! All your gonna be is disappointed!!!!!

You can wear your Galaxy Watch 4 in the pool as the device's 5ATM water resistance rating makes it safe to take swimming. Samsung does not recommend keeping the device submerged for more than 30 minutes. -Joe

How do i get my galaxy 4 watch to work in standalone? I work somewhere that my phone is not allowed. I have to leave it at home.

Do any of samsung galaxy watches also can measure heart rate and blood pressure
