Fairly easy to connect but often does not stay connected and I must reconnect several times. I usually have 3 devices (laptops) connected so there is no reason for it to disconnect so often and the battery life is terrible. I gave it a 3 star because as I said it works but if you require it to connect to multiple devices and stay connected then you may want something more reliable/stable.

Customer service is a disaster. We ordered a new Orbic through Verizon. It showed full signal however after 2-3 feet reception would fall apart. Not worth it. Stay away.

The speeds are laughably slow, considering it's a dedicated Hotspot. The Hotspot feature on my phone and tablet is much faster and more reliable. Plus, this overheats easily and the battery life is quite short, but you can't even remedy that with leaving it plugged in, because then it overheats and forces standby until the charger is removed. I wish I could refund this terrible thing. It's essentially been my overnight updater, and then game off of my phone or tablet.

This works great if you are sitting under the cell tower but don't stray more than 50 feet if you want to use this device. I've owned it for several months and it is slow and unreliable, you are better off using your cell phone hot spot. Verizon Customer service doesn't care either, this is not the item I thought I was getting, I was looking at another jet pack but this is the one they sent and it was to late before I realized I got the wrong one.

We picked this up for camp so I could work from camp on my Telecommute days and utilize our ring camera while away from our camper. This product is complete junk and a waste of money. It does not stay connected at all, it disconnects no matter what you do, it drops in the middle of a video call, it drops just sitting on the shelf (near a window) by the way. Do not buy this when they tell you: "yeah, it will work for that", it clearly does not!

Now that it is working I like it. Bought it at the Verizon store. Tech said it was ready to go. NOPE - spent 1/2 day the next day on phone with a Verizon tech, I believe his name was Steven. He was AWESOME and worked long and hard to get it going. Works great now.

Took a total of 4 hours, a trip to Verizon store where I was charged an additional fee because the phone order was not sent to the store, could not complete set up, was sent 2nd unit by Overnight delivery and another 2 hours to trouble shoot problems before unit was operational. And this was to replace a unit I had been using for the last three years that decided to stop working and was charged full price plus connection fee. Still getting poor signal on weekends.
