How to Suspend or Reconnect Service (1:56)
How do I suspend or reconnect service?
If you need to suspend a line on your account, use the My Verizon app or visit vzw.com and login to My Verizon. From the Account drop-down menu, under "My Devices", select Suspend or reconnect.
If you have more than one line on your account, select the device you want to suspend by clicking Select Device. Select the reason why you're suspending service. If you select "Vacation or other reason", your line will automatically reconnect in 90 days if you don't reconnect it before.
If you have device protection, coverage and billing for it is suspended until you resume your service.
Take a moment to review all the details. Haz clic en Continuar. Confirm the suspension by clicking Continue again. Your line's service has now been suspended.
Once you're ready to resume your service, log into My Verizon. From the "Account" drop down menu, under "My Devices", select Suspend or reconnect.
You'll see a "Service suspended" label on any line that is currently suspended. Select the line that you would like to reconnect and click Select Device. You'll now have the choice to resume service with the same device and SIM card that was originally used, or you can reconnect service with a different device or SIM card. Make your choice and click Reconnect Now.
If you are reconnecting the device you previously suspended, then you’re all set!
If you are reconnecting to another device or with a different SIM card, you'll be redirected to complete a few additional steps. Once complete, your line will be reconnected and you're good to go.
