Terrible battery life

After a week, it's a very good tablet excpet for pitiful battery life. It's hyped as being able to suport streaming for 8 hours, but with only about three hours of use the battery drains to 35%. It drains when the screen is turned off and gets below 20%.

The NXTPAPER TAB 10 5G is my go-to tablet for all my needs from reading blueprints at work to reading a book at home. Screen is easy on the eyes and fast enough for what I use it for. I'm not into much gaming but productivity, this tablet rocks. I wished it came with a pen but that's okay, I ordered one from this site.

Disappointing successor to the TCL NXTPAPER 11

I'm sad to say that I can't fully recommend this tablet. I had great hopes for it as I have the earlier TCL NXTPAPER 11 which was a fine device. On the positive side, this one is also very peppy and competent for the price level. I also like the form factor and the 5G connectivity is a plus if you are willing to pay for that service monthly. Unfortunately, this one is also a scaled back version with less storage (128 gb vs. 256) and just two speakers vs. the four the 11 inch had. The fatal flaw here is that the screen is relatively dim compared to the earlier 11 inch. NXTPAPER 3.0 is advertised by TCL as brighter and an improvement but, in reality, is not. It looks washed out and dull in comparison to the display that the 11 inch had. Disappointing.

Hello. Thank you for your feedback. This TAB 10 NXTPAPER 5G is slightly smaller than the NXTPAPER 11 (Wi-Fi Only), but it is designed with added 5G connectivity capability. The display is also different in that it has three temperature modes: Vivid, Natural, and Advanced. For a brighter color, choose Vivid. As for the brightness, the default brightness setting is not at the highest, so you can adjust to a brighter level in the settings for Display. While it only has a built-in 128GB memory, it does have an option for a microSD card that you can expand your memory if you need to. Hope you can enjoy both devices. - Kevin.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a beta tester for this amazing tablet and it is freaking awesome! My call of duty game went through the roof on this. I had it rooted within a week of testing and even had Lineage OS 21 running on it before I bricked it. My only regret is I didn't take a backup. Tcl this product is great please help me out with the stock firmware so I can fix mine and continue to enjoy it.
