The battery preservation mode doesn't allow the battery to fully charge so when I hit the road I have only 59 percent charge, that doesn't last long enough.

Don't Waste Your Time and Money!

If I could give negative stars I would. I live in a RURAL area where we have 1 internet provider. My Jetpak died, so I purchased this waste of $200. It randomly turns itself off, even with a full charge. Even when it's on it has issues connecting to my devices and I have to reboot it again and again and again. The "battery saver" stops charging at 60%, so FORGET about having it sitting on a shelf in your house -- you better make sure you have it where you can see it constantly or you are without internet for the next 8 hours while it charges and refuses to connect while charging. PIECE OF EXPENSIVE JUNK!

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

Rep said we were running low on our stand alone hotspot, and it would be recommended to go from 15G to 50G. After Getting off the phone, I called back because I was a bit confused (since he said he couldn’t even ‘see’ how many gigs our hotspot had used. Second rep said we hadn’t even used 1G, which is probably why it wasn’t registering. The first rep almost had us paying an additional $20 per month, and changing our (PHONE 423.260.4239) plan to 50G,. When all I needed was to see what we had been using for our stand alone hotspot.

Faulty Battery

Received this device via corporate account, however it lasted maybe a week until it stopped turning on at all. Salesmen in store cannot help, so troubleshooted over the phone. Verizon sent a replacement device in case that was the issue, but advised it is most likely the battery and I'd have to get that replaced myself- fine. They even recommend Amazon to purchase a new battery, I figured easy enough. Wrong- no store sells this battery, not even Orbic themselves. So now I have a newly bought faulty device and don't know what to do?? Why didn't they send a whole new device with a battery? Make it make sense.

Can this device be left plugged in. Use it for a hotspot in an RV to run thermostats and cameras and is frequently unattended.
