Great device. Takes a long time to charge and it’s way bigger than I thought. The charging part is awesome. I have charged my 2 phones 4x and my Bose speaker 3x didn’t charge for three days and still had 15% battery life before I fully charged again. Takes 10hrs to charge fully from 0

When using with a solar panel, the panel should be closed first and slowly opened. Plugging in XT60 connector while the solar panels are open will cause the battery to go into protection mode. If the solar panel has other power outlets, like USB, you can connect your phone to the port to pull power from the panels first, then plug in the battery. It would be better if there were built-in management for this inrush instead of just shutting down.

This is a nice battery, but it will trip the internal breaker if you try to use any solar panel larger that 60w. It does take a while to charge using a wall plug. The other issue is that when charging more than one device or using USB-C and USB, the output is very low and they often need to be unplugged and plugged back in to reset the output charging.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found the Anker 548 Power bank to be a dependable and useful device. Of the different features this power bank offers, I really appreciated the ability to charge from using the included universal- C cord or from USB enabled cord. While there was function to charge the unit from solar powered energy, I was not able to utilize this function since I do not have solar panels in my home. Another feature of the Anker power bank I find useful is the lighted lantern top which is multifunctional as a simple light or as an emergency signal when SOS button is engaged. The unit itself is substantially heavy for it's size. However, for its multifunctional uses as a charging device and lighted lantern in various situations, the Anker power unit proved to be worth its weight for wherever it taken. Though the solar enabled charging option was not a function I could readily use, it is a function that may be useful for others whom have solar panels.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This charger is pretty cool. It has a light up top that has different brightness levels. In my photos, I turned off all the lights in a room and just let the power bank light illuminate the room. Both brightness settings are very strong. It has two usb-c and two lighting ports. In my photos you can see that I was able to charge my MacBook, AirPods, and this phone all at once. The device does take a long time to charge, which is to be expected, but the charge it has will hold for a long time when the device is not in use. The charger shows you how many hours of charge it has left. The more things you do with it at once, the less battery life it’ll have. The screen will update to show you how much time is left. This device is quite heavy. It has an SOS button and solar input port. I could see an avid camper using this or it may also be good to have during a power outage. Overall, it’s a pretty cool charger.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I work from home, so I really like the entire concept of this power bank just in case I need to do something during a trip, and during blackouts. I really wish there were more charging ports, and it only comes with one C to C cable, not even anything to let you charge the device itself. I could see people who aren’t tech savvy like my parents struggling with it, I had issues figuring out how to turn it off and the manual really is more confusing rather than helpful. I really like that the screen gives you the time it has left, that’s beyond helpful. Overall I find it decent, but there might be something out there a bit better.

Bought 2 of these plus Anker's 100 solar panel assuming compatibility. Not ... The power station's upper limit for DC input from solar is slightly below the output of the panels, so won't charge. I can use the AC USB output to charge but this is at extremely low voltage ... would take days to charge. I realize I could have better cross referenced compatibility before purchase but didn't. I did in hindsight however, but Anker didn't make it easy. Nothing on the surface to indicate compatibility. Had to download the user guide for the power station to find it's values. For my purpose, would not buy these again.
