So far the sound is really good. Haven’t used for movies yet. Recommend using hdmi-arc because it is recognized and turns on better with tv/cable remotes whereas the optical cable doesn’t.

This Bose TV Speaker sounds better and more clear and than the sound from my TV alone. I especially like the push-button feature which instantly helps clarify and strengthen the actors’ voices while it simultaneously lowers the volume of any background noise or music track in a movie or TV show we’re watching.

I bought this for a Christmas gift to myself and I was super excited to use my first ever soundbar. Got it Hooked up and was completely underwhelmed. I am old school so I remember Bose home speakers that were the 2 small stack speakers that had amazing sound. I figured the sound bar would Has little to no bass and it rattles. I definitely expected better so I will be returning it for a JBL 500 sound bar it sounds way better and has amazing bass

I LOVE my Bose Sound Bar! At last I am freed from depending on subtitles to follow my favorite movie and TV series selections on streaming subscriptions. Balance background and spoken language scripts are clearly present. Thank you BOSE! I’m back listening to the audio portion of my visual experience as a filmophile! Best yet the device for controlling sound bar features is user friendly. How could I be more than delighted and pleased again with my BOSE purchase? YEAH!

It’s ok but not what I expected from Bose. It does enhance the sound and bass somewhat but was hoping for a bigger change. We went back and forth about returning it and decided to keep it because we’ve had other brands and they didn’t last very long so at least hopefully this will last for several years. We also had to buy the HDMI cord because it only came with an optical cord.
