Yes, I'd recommend this product.
Okay, I am NOT an ear buds person. I like overear headphones, but THESE, these are apiece of engineering marvel!! After unboxing I noticed the case and USB-C cable are color matched, thsts a unique, bespoke, detail most corporations don't take the time to do. I bought the Hunter Green earbuds and the cable matched.
The USB C cable.is extremely robust and THICK!! Especially when you compare to the thousands of other USB type C cables you get with all your other devices. The Bowers and Wilkins cable stands out. It also comes with a very nice bit of velcro to keep your cable nice and tidy while not being used. Again, a detail most companies forget.
The pairing was SUPER easy. Even after you have them out and using them, connecting them to other devices is touching both buds for 3 seconds and then they are discoverable. Super easy.
The controls for the ear buds are not overtly complicated. 1 tap play/pause, double tap go forward, triple to go back. The sides of the earbuds are very conducive to touch as well. Not overtly so it dings when dust hits them, but it knows when your FINGER is manipulating it.
The magnet inside the case? It is a MAG-NET!! I had the left ear buds jump out of my hand and dive back into the case because its so strong lol.
ANC, its not the BEST, but the sound is so freaking good, you don't NEED the best ANC to be able to hear these jokers. The "Pass-Through" option has a bit of a hiss to it, that can be annoying at first, but its not like you just can't hear with the ANC activated. So I just leave it on.
THERE IS NO EQ, ONLY DEPTH AND CLARITY!!
Okay, I think some people online don't understand how these work. You are essentially buying the sound profile of these dedicated sound professionals. You don't get a genuine tremble, middle, bass EQ. You get a tremble and bass slider, but really its "Clarity" and "Depth". Turn the bass UP, get that nice body vibration feeling, turn the bass down and it turns into a normal listening experience.
If you crank the trebble all the way to 6, you get maximum clarity out of your audio. If you crank both bass and trebble, it stays crystal clear, absolutely 0 MUD!! THERE IS NO MUD IN THESE EARBUDS!! BUT, but, the sound Profile IS BASS HEAVY. For me, I use "Trebble at +6 and the Bass at -3/-2.5. Thats for NORMAL listening. If I want more depth and intensity, I crank the bass up and it makes my head RUMBLE!!
One thing I HATED was the let down of the box WEIGHT. When you receive them, the box they come in is unusually heavy for earbuds. I was impressed at first, because I thought it was representing full metal housing, metal case, high end product all around. Newp, 3.25 of the weight IS the box 😆.
OVERALL, with the price being $249 here on Verizon when they are like $239 elsewhere is a let down, BUT they are worth the cost for the clarity, and the multiple device connectivity. Now, I will have to buy a bluetooth upgrade for my PC to be able to use these with my PC because my motherboard bluetooth is terrible lol, but these can connect to your computer/laptop.
All in all, these are something special. I wish I could get the Pi8 now. It has several more features than the Pi6 along eith charge case streaming. Oh, also the Bowers and Wilkins application allows you to connect your streaming platforms all in one place. Spotify, Pandora, SoundCloud. I wish YouTube was one of those in their list.
These are amazing headphones, even if they are the mid tier earbuds. If you can swing the Pi8, I would grt them, if you want the next best thing, get the Pi6. They are phenomenal for the price point!!
