While the text, call, and video worked, the location was rarely correct. The device says the battery is supposed to last 3 days but barely lasts a day. If you ever go to an area where the signal is low, you can’t locate it. The calls drop constantly and drains the battery.

The predictive text makes texting so much slower with the way it assumes it knows what I want to type after one or two letters. I'm fixing almost every other word for typos. I don't mind the suggestion but it changes the word without allowing me to agree with it or not.

The Gizmo watch sometimes works well but mostly it's bad at everything it does. The screens on my phone and on the watch are both difficult to navigate in the app. The GPS also seems to struggle and actually pinpointing locations like telling me that my kid is not at school while I am standing next to them in school. It's super slow on the phone app and cumbersome to navigate because things aren't where you would expect them to be there's a messages button but no call button little things like that that really add up to making a pretty awful experience. Also has the admin you should have much greater access to safeguards within the phone including seeing all messages happening on your child's phone and locking down certain functions and certain apps. We got this cuz it was a good deal and it was what Verizon recommended as their native kids smartwatch but I would say don't make the same mistake we did.

Works for a phone call and text messages however, since I replaced my phone with a new phone, I have not been able to use the gizmo the same will not track your location nor will it allow me to text her on individual thread

We got these watches for our two sons. The watches are easy to use, durable, and secure. We replaced the bands with ones that are off brand because the boys didnt like the ones that came with them. The app is easy to use but can take an extended time to load even with full service.

Do approved contacts have to have the Gizmo Hub app in order to text and/or call? I have seen conflicting answers.
