Installation was quick and straightforward using the Google Home app, with clear step-by-step instructions. It connected easily to our Wi-Fi and was ready to go within minutes.
The video quality is excellent during the day, and the night vision is sharp footage even in low light, which gives great peace of mind at night. Motion detection is accurate, notifications are fast, and I know right away when someone is actually at the door.
Functionality has been seamless. I can check the live feed, review events, and talk through the doorbell right from my phone. Motion alerts are customizable, which helps cut down on unnecessary notifications, and it integrates perfectly with our other Google devices.
One fun bonus I didn’t expect the doorbell sounds are actually really cute! The regular chime is pleasant, and the seasonal/holiday tones are such a fun touch and easy to switch on. It’s a small detail, but it really adds to the overall experience.
Overall, it’s easy to use, reliable, and feels like a well-thought-out smart home upgrade. Highly recommend.

I love that I can talk to people even if I’m not home. The device is rechargeable and I’ve realized that depending on how cold it is outside it lasts less than when it’s higher temperatures. The app, Google Home, is easy to download and set up and WiFi really never fails to connect.
Overall, this is a great product to invest in!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nest Doorbell is a must for your home. The video and sound quality are great and it picks up on all kinds of movement that can then notify you on your phone. It can also track events like when a package is delivered. The setup was challenging as I had to disassemble a previous version of the doorbell and find separate instructions for this. The new doorbell is longer, but the width is the same, which in my case, was very important since I don’t have much space to install it to begin with. It also came with an optional wedge piece that helped me get a better angle for the video and capture more viewing area. While it was still challenging, the instructions were very helpful as they showed pictures and provided additional guidance. I recommend watching a video tutorial for extra guidance to the written instructions. This 3rd gen is much easier to pop off when needed compared to the older generations that needed a special tool to do so. I love that this device connects with my Google Home app and shows all my devices in one spot!

This device made me feel a lot more secure after the easy set up because I could reliably see movement outside my door. I was also able to connect to it very easily with lovely audio sound.
