I purchased this from my local Verizon Wireless Store. The times I've had issues or questions about the device, the manufacturer typically fails to respond. The mount stopped sticking to dash when the summer heat occurred, though the 3M VHB car mount adhesive resolved that problem. After about a year, the tab that pushes the mount down to make the device suction to the dash detached and won’t stay on. Now the mount is unable to create a suction on the dash. Although the device claims to have a lifetime warranty if you register your product, the warranty is useless as the company does not respond to your claim. When I connected the device to my car via a cigarette lighter adapter in a 2020 Toyota or older, it would charge the phone even while in use for navigation. But when plugged into a newer model Toyota, the phone may charge only a few percent more than what it started at while using the navigation app. The automatic open/close feature can be non-responsive and may take several presses to get it to work. The arm is not strong enough to hold the phone stable and suspended while driving; and needs to have the weight of the charging/phone portion resting on the dash. If the weight is not supported, the phone vibrates up and down while driving and the mount eventually detaches from the dash While the concept is good, the low rating is due to the poor quality of the device.

Doesn’t work on iPhone 13 Pro Max. I had to go to Amazon and found something similar but fits new phones and old iPhone 12 Pro Max. Cost was only $25. At Amazon.?

Phone overheats while it’s on charge. Since it’s hot in Florida I have to try to aim an air vent directly at it. Also stays in one position briefly. I have tightened and twisted the knobs and it doesn’t help. Waste of $60.

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

Very convenient device. Just used it on a 1900 mile road trip and my phone remained fully charged and was stable enough to be useable for the very mile of the trip.

A car holder does not need to be this fancy.

Says it is 15 watts but there's no way. It can barely maintain my phone's power, much less charge it. I'm always somehow engaging the automatic motor and the phone falls out. Once I guess I was reaching to grab it and lock the car out of gear

One of the worst chargers in the market. The charging speed is practically zero and the mounting bracket isn't working properly. I've only had it for a week or so and it started to fall off and the phone won't charge up. I found one similar at the swap meet and it turned out better, with 15W of wireless charging speed. Don't recommend you buy this at all!
