The sound quality is really good, and honestly I’d give it 5 stars for that alone. But I’m annoyed because I bought a custom JBL Charge 6, got it just 9 days ago, and the paint is already coming off. It’s supposed to be waterproof, so why is the paint peeling just from being outside in the snow? I didn’t even get it wet besides that. The paint SHOULD NOT be coming off this easy. I’m really upset about it. The sound is great, but don’t waste your money on the custom design because the paint will come off really easily if it gets even a little wet. I learned my lesson.

JBL products are top notch and we have many. My experience with the customization was not a good one. The placement of the customization was way off from the simulator and the print quality was not consistent. Most was so light it was not legible. This was to be a gift intended to be displayed on a desk. I was embarrassed by to give it as a gift so I ended up using a sharpie marker to make it look better and am using it in my garage. I want to make clear the JBL audio product is top notch I only had issues with the personalization.

This was probably one of the best things I have ever bought. I love music and this thing kicks. I listen to everything from Robert Johnson to Slipnot. I could not recommend it higher. I cannot wait to take it on a month trip and just chill with it.

Finally had this out and tested a few times w/ others to confirm AuraCast is an upgrade from our xtreme 2's. Connection seems to be better (more consistent, better distance). Tied 2 together in our basement for an all day gathering - both performed ideally and barely had an impact on the batteries.

CAN YOU PLAY A USB STICK?

Thanks for your question. Our JBL Charge 6 does not support playing music directly from a USB flash drive. The USB port is for charging devices, such as a phone, or for lossless audio playback, which allows you to plug in your laptop or other audio device. However, in order for it to work, you need a compatible lossless audio source.

can I use this device for a phone call?

Thank you for your inquiry. Our JBL Charge 6 cannot be used for phone calls because it does not have a built-in microphone. While it can connect to your phone via Bluetooth for playing music, it lacks the necessary microphone for making calls. We recommend the Onyx Studio 8 as a better option, as it includes a call-handling feature.
