Nice and loud, but not as clear as the Bose sound link micro. But this speaker is less money so I’m not complaining.

I got this as a christmas present this year and It was a favorite of mine! I use it all the time for the shower or even just getting ready. I can't wait to use it this summer!

Connects easily to both my phone (Pixel 8) and my old iPod Touches (3rd and 6th Gens). Sound is excellent. Only wish is that I could change the tone as there is a lot of bass on this unit and it overpowers some songs, so being able to boost the treble or midrange via some fixed selections would be nice. Overall, though, a very good response range for such a small speaker and it'll get a lot of use. Recommended.

great speaker BUT .. i use this primarily outside attached to my golf bag to listen to tunes while playing .. initially it was good battery lasted whole round 4-5 hours. i always charge it after each round .. but after the 3rd round now it will not last past 2 hours.. it is cold out but i cant see why this is not lasting at least 3 hours in cold weather. I was contemplating using it clipped to my backpack for skiing but looks like that wont work . how is it that this is advertised as a up to 12 hours speaks when it cants last 2-3 hours outside?

We recommend charging your speaker with an adapter with 5V/1A input for 3 hours. If the speaker doesn't meet the advertised playtime hours even at low to mid-volume levels, there could be a problem with the battery of the unit. I enjoy using the JBL Clip 5 and it works great. I am giving it a four star rating because it came with a very short usb-a to usb-c charging cable. It would so much better if the cable was usb-c to usb-c.

Convinced this speaker is indestructible!! I work in construction and due to my own negligence, the speaker fell into 3 gallons of paint today. I knew that the speaker was waterproof so with cat reflex I retrieved the speaker, cleaned with a rag, and rushed to the water hose. I rinsed it vigorously and allowed it to dry for 2 hours before testing it out. HOLY COW, the sound is still flawless!! From now on, everyone who knows me will know how incredible JBL is. Thank you!!
