I went in to my local Verizon store to get a phone issue dealt with. I left with that getting done, but I also left with a Party Box, by JBL. It’s the most fun, amazing, and best sounding system for the money, and on the market. It comes with a nice microphone! You can plug your guitar into it, so….. it’s also an amplifier. Get one!!!

I purchased the on the go essential to go with my other two party boxes 120. They pair without any issues but have learned after buying that it will not work with the JBL Party Box App. Very disappointed. The reason it is called “on the go” is that it is very light and portable. Why would this not be included in the app? Very poor that JBL does not include this speaker in there Party Box Collection even though they market it as a Party Box. WHY????????????????? What a miss????????????????
Hoping that they will add the on the go to the app soon.

Our JBL PartyBox On-the-Go Essential is marketed as a portable party speaker but is not compatible with our JBL PartyBox App. We can recommend you use a third-party equalizer app if you want to adjust the sound quality. Volume and usage can affect the battery's life. In addition, please know that the battery wears out over time. Even if listening at maximum volume to heavy bass music, the battery should last longer than 60% of the published maximum playtime of 6 hours. What is the difference vs regular version of PartyBox-On-the-GO? No comparison option

Thanks for your question. The main differences between our JBL PartyBox On-The-Go and JBL PartyBox On-The-Go Essential are that on the Essential mode, we have removed the aux input and the USB charge out is 5V and 0.5 A compared with the 5V 2.1 A that is on the JBL PartyBox OTG. Audio quality and performance are the same since they have the same driver size installed and watts.
