Yes, I'd recommend this product.
Sure there are cheaper screen protectors out there - but Otterbox has been a great, reliable brand with their protective cases and tempered glass screen protectors, and this is no exception. It has been almost two months and has worked like a charmed, went on without a hitch, and feels smooth like the phone's original glass. I would rather pay more for a screen protector than have to rebuy cheaper ones repeatedly that break or come off too easily. Case friendly, too, and recommended.

I bought the A42 over the phone with Verizon and received it in September. Per their recommendation when I bought the phone I also purchased this screen protector and within a week it was already cracked and my phone screen underneath it cracked as well because the screen protector doesn't fit the entire screen. I called OtterBox to get a new one and ask them why the glass is shorter than the actual screen and they informed me they've never manufactured one for the A42 and the protector I was sold is for the A52 according to the SKU # on my box. It is a shame Verizon sells this as "for the A42" and there is even a sticker on the box that says "for Samsung Galaxy A42 5G"

I bought this for my new Samsung A42 but it is too thick for it to detect my fingerprint.
