There were not directions on how to install the case, but we found a YouTube which helped a lot. Otherwise it is a bulletproof case that should last a good long time in tough conditions. The clip on carrier is nice too if needed.

Case protects phone great, clip assembly could use some improvements. It's annoying when the clip catches and locks open on seat belts and such. I'm sure it voids the warranty, but I usually file the catch ridge down to prevent it from locking open. The spring clip is the weakest link of the assembly, it keeps breaking.

OtterBox Defender Case is very well made. The screen preforms better with the stick on screen protector, better than the original built-in screen protector. I have already dropped it with no damage to my phone. The holster with the belt clip/stand works great other than you cannot take photos or video's, because there is no hole in cover. My reason for 4 Stars, purchased for the holster! I'm going to try cutting open hole with my Dremel tool.
