I have been using a Shokz Openrun for a couple of years and was happy with its performance. I wanted to try the new Openrun Pro 2 to see if the sound improved. The Pro 2 is a quantum leap ahead of the Openrun. The sound is richer, fuller and the base is a true base sound. The setup was simple and the operation is the same as the Openrun, so there wasn’t a learning curve. The headband is the same size so it fit just as the Openrun. Bluetooth reception was at least equal to the Openrun (there are no dead spots at the gym). I was ready to take advantage of the 45 return option, but the Pro 2 is a keeper. I even like that it uses a USB-C cord so I don’t need to keep track of the magnetic power cord.

I would prefer the current charging device then the one it came with. The magnet one is better and doesn't require an additional plug for that type of end.

Heavier than previous models but all of the other good stuff that I have come to love from the bone conduction and over the ear. Nice to see the chargin has been updated to something I use more regularly so I don't have to carry so many different cords on vacation!

Really enjoying the open run pro 2’s. The app is a great game changer and like the fact you can go back to the original classic mode. Wish they would get louder in the bass mode.
