Sound is adequate. Dust cover must be at less than 90 degrees with LP hanging out the back of the cover. Poor and awkward design.

Got this as a gift for someone. Looks exactly like the picture and sounds great. However, we did have to buy a new needle for it because when we took off the needle cover it somehow messed up the needle it came with, but after we got a new one it worked great.
