This was awful. The performance is absolutely vulgar and is extremly slow. Camera isn't as good as expected, and connectivity is fine, display is surprisingly good, and the battery is fast at charging. If you are a heavy user do not get this phone. This phone is basically a downgrade from the A16 5G..

Elderly people can easily be overwhelmed with all the apps available on smart phones. The A17 is easy to use and a good solution for someone who needs a basic phone with a screen that is less confusing.

This phone is useless for anything beyond basic calls and text. It is useless for any kind of multitasking. It stutters and skips if you open more than one tab or application. If you do any sort of work with your phone BUY LITERALLY ANYTHING ELSE! After 1 WEEK of having this phone I want to throw it at a wall on a daily basis. Now it is refusing to hold a charge as a brand new phone (I have had it two weeks). I bought this because it was the cheapest option but was hoping that it could perform at least the bare minimum for work. I was sick of wasting money on the "best" model phones when I only use it for work 99% of the time. This phone is a HUGE mistake and waste of money.

Slowest device ever used!

Incredibly slow device. I decided to try it because of the 4.7 star rating. I don't know who's putting these reviews in but there's no way this phone gets a 4.7, It's MUCH closer to a 2.5 star rating. Even after doing a full reset and manually setting up the phone a second time, removing all of the bloatware and trying every suggestion listed in Google search, nothing will help this phone overcome the embarrassing low amount of RAM memory. It'll work okay when you're sitting on the couch scrolling through TikTok, it's when you're on the go using GPS, checking email and someone calls you that it will become the slowest device you've ever had in your hand. You will wait 3 seconds for a response from the device when you press the home button many times a day. There's no way that Samsung is serious about pushing this device to the public.
