We needed a newer version of Android to support a hearing aid app and this was reasonably priced. It's a nice phone and has worked out well. A bit smaller than the Note 8. We had a lot of trouble with the transfer from the Note 8 to the S22 and had to have customer service straighten out the phone numbers between the 2. Also hard to believe that Verizon's customer support is not 24/7. All in all we're happy with the purchase.
