Does your iPhone or Android phone keep disconnecting from the internet? Do you see a message that your phone has no internet connection? It may be that:
- Your phone has no connection, weak or inconsistent connection to Verizon's 4G LTE or 5G data network.
- Your phone has no connection to a Wi-Fi network.
Other reasons your phone is disconnecting may be:
- Network not available - Our network is built with a strong focus on reliability, but sometimes the unforeseen happens. If this happens we may use fail-safes to be sure you can still use our service while we resolve the issue. This can sometimes mean increased traffic on the systems that are still available, resulting in slower throughput.
- Visit our check network status page to check for outages.
- Signal level - We strive to provide the strongest coverage possible, but factors beyond our control can sometimes affect your experience. These can include being far from network cell sites, electronic device interference, obstructions, building materials or construction, terrain, geography and even heavy foliage.
- Network resources - When many people come into an area all at once (e.g, sporting event, concert, festival, etc.) the increased network traffic can cause slower network speeds. During network congestion you may experience reduced speeds until the congestion clears or you travel to an uncongested cell site.
- Device settings - A setting on your device might have been changed and is blocking your connection to the internet. Resetting your iPhone network settings or your Android network settings to their default values could help to restore your connection.
