Sebastián Yatra performed stunning virtual AR/VR concert powered by Pandora and Verizon 5G
In an exclusive virtual concert experience powered by Pandora and Verizon, Latin Grammy-nominated Colombian pop sensation Sebastián Yatra performed some of his latest and greatest hits.

Scanned in Verizon’s volumetric studio in Verizon’s cutting-edge 5G Lab, Yatra was able to perform a stunning, unique experience side-by-side with holograms of himself, making for a cutting-edge concert experience like nothing viewers had ever seen before.
When asked about the experience, Yatra said the following:
"I'm very happy because I'm doing something different. It's like my introduction to the future. So, there I was singing Tacones Rojos, a song I love very much… (and) my hologram sings in English, and is going to be there singing the song. And it's nice, because you also play with your imagination, because you're recording everything in a greenroom, but you have to (act like) you're in a show with all the people, and that I have myself next to me singing the other parts of the song in a duet."
The crew behind the concert shoot emphasized the importance of the super low latency that 5G Ultra Wideband offers, with Virtual Production Engineer Guillermo Quesada stating,
"If you have, let's say, one second of delay (between) the stage and the place you're processing the data, the composition is going to be one second late, right? But, with 5G, we can reduce that to just one frame."
