Verizon periodically offers rebates as part of certain promotions. Depending on the promotion, you may have to port-in from another wireless carrier or bring your own 4G/5G smartphone to use on your phone line to qualify for the rebate. Redeeming your rebate offer

  1. How do I redeem a rebate offer?

    Simply visit to initiate your submission. You'll need to know your purchase date, promo code, and mobile number.

  2. Where do I find my promo code needed to redeem my rebate offer?

    In most cases, the promo code for your rebate can be found on either the purchase receipt or order confirmation email provided to you when you purchased your device or SIM card. You can find a copy of your receipt by visiting My Verizon. If you did not receive a promo code, contact your Verizon specialist for the appropriate code.

  3. How long do I have to redeem my rebate offer?

    Most rebates must be submitted within 30 days from purchase. However, this may vary by offer and will be indicated on your receipt or order confirmation email.

  4. How long will it take to process my rebate?

    Most rebates are processed within 8-10 weeks from purchase date. However, processing times vary by offer. Refer to your offer Terms and Conditions for more information about your rebate promotion.

  5. What form of payment will I receive after my rebate submission has been approved?

    Most rebate payments will be issued in the form of a Verizon gift card or Prepaid Mastercard. However, the form of payment may vary by rebate offer, so please refer to your rebate’s Terms and Conditions for more information.

Tracking your rebate status

  1. How can I check the status of my rebate?

    You can check your status online, anytime, at Check My Status.

  2. How will Verizon contact me about my rebate status throughout the process?

    Verizon will use the email address provided in your submission to keep you updated on your rebate.

  3. I lost my tracking number to check my rebate status. How do I retrieve it?

    Your tracking number was sent to the email address you provided at the time of submission. You can also visit Check My Status and enter your information to find your tracking number.

  4. What does it mean if my rebate status is invalid?

    When the status is invalid, this means not all of the requirements to redeem the rebate have been met. You can check the status of the rebate and the invalid reason at Check My Status.

Prepaid Mastercard® overview

  1. What is a Prepaid Mastercard?

    Prepaid Mastercards are prepaid debit cards. They are personalized and embossed with:

    Note: You cannot use your Prepaid Mastercard after the expiration date.

  2. What address does my Prepaid Mastercard get sent to?

    Your prepaid card will be sent to your billing address on file with Verizon Wireless.

  3. How do I activate my Prepaid Mastercard?

    You can activate your prepaid card by calling (866) 598-3499. Please be prepared to provide the:

    • 10-digit mobile number associated with the rebate
    • 16-digit number from the prepaid card

  4. Where can I use my Prepaid Mastercard?

    You can use your prepaid card everywhere Mastercard debit cards are accepted.

  5. Who do I contact if I want to check the balance or have questions about my Prepaid Mastercard?

    • Visit Access Card Account to check the balance of your Prepaid MasterCard online
