Here's why there's a phone number and why we updated it:

• A "phone" number is required for the router to connect to the Verizon wireless network (it's not for calls or texts).
• Your phone number was updated to streamline our internal network operations and systems.

You should know: This change is administrative. Your plan, pricing, data speeds, and service terms don’t change.

The number change occurs behind the scenes with no impact to your internet service. If you experience a connection drop, visit the Troubleshooting tab for more information.

If a number change occurs mid-cycle, your next bill shows prorated adjustments. This ensures you only pay for the service you used on each specific number.

What to expect on your next statement:

• Partial Credit: A refund for the remaining days of your old number's billing cycle.*
• Partial Charge: A charge for the active days of your new number.*

*The partial credit and charge will equal your usual monthly cost. You will not be charged extra and future bills will be back to normal.

In most cases, the router will update automatically. If your connection drops or you can't get online following this change, a simple power cycle (reboot) usually fixes the issue.

How to reboot:

1. Unplug the power cord from the internet router and the wall outlet.
2. Wait at least 60 seconds.
3. Plug the power cord back in.
4. Wait for the device to reconnect (this may take 2–3 minutes).
