The phones are horrible! They lag, the speaker phones are distorted, the speed is horrible the finger print doesn't work 98% of the time, the facial recognition doesn't want to work, the cameras even lag! These phones are not worth the $200 a peice we are paying for 3 of them. The internet service and representatives are awesome, just wish their budget phones worked better!

Please, don't buy this phone. It is a malfunctioning piece of junk. I promise, anything is better. It started malfunctioning the day I brought it home. Explanation: I bought the Samsung Galaxy A15 from my local Metro Pcs store about 10 months ago. It is by far the worst phone I have ever had. I was sold solely by the name "Samsung Galaxy", I truly believed Galaxy was a great model and Samsung was a great brand. It was a lower budget phone so I didn't have to spend a lot to get it. I did spend a little over 300$. I thought it was a great phone for a great price. Actually, 300$ was a little over budget for me but I thought I deserved a "good" phone for once. Ha. That is until I immediately began using it. An hour after retrieving this phone I was on my way home and the sound turned off, just went totally mute half way through a YouTube video. I knew in that moment I was stuck with a crap phone. I tried turning the volume up, it obviously didn't work. I had to close the app entirely and reopen it for the sound to function again. This was literally on my way home from buying the phone. I hoped that one time was just a fluke, but ultimately I knew it was probably going to be a consistent issue. And it is. The sound goes mute ever so often and I have to close and reopen the app, not just YouTube, I could be watching a video on my browser, TikTok, Facebook, whatever, it goes mute no matter what I'm doing. I thought " I can live with that". But then the phone started freezing, again this was within a month of owning it. It would freeze in place wherever I was, whatever app I was in, it would freeze and then crash. I wondered if the sensitivity was the issue so I adjusted it, it still freezes, lags and crashes daily. It's obviously an internal issue. I have tried clearing space, checking to ensure I didn't have a bad app in my phone, I've reset it to factory settings. They even changed out the sim card which was already somehow fried within a six month window. Nothing prevails in the attempt to make this phone function as it should. I've used K7's that functioned better than this piece of garbage. It lags, crashes and freezes a few times a day. The sound goes off frequently. And the back of the phone gets extremely hot. It is incredibly slow. I have tried using wifi, not using wifi and just relying on the service to see if websites in the browser would load faster, or if I'm streaming something on Netflix or another streaming service would stop lagging. But nothing prevailed. That's how it starts, I'll try to click on an app and it won't open or it'll be extremely slow to open and then it will lag, freeze and it always ends with everything crashing. I've tried every troubleshoot I possibly could. The phone is simply just garbage. I will never use Samsung Galaxy in any form ever again. They make great quality product when it's a stale 2 grand. But if you're on a budget, the cheaper galaxy phones are absolutely not the way to go. They make cheap garbage if the phone is less than 800$. Therefore, stick to what you know works for you. Alcatel has always provided excellence and it's what I should have stuck with. I knew I couldn't take it back, it was too late. So I have dealt with it for as long as I've had to. I don't have the funds to just buy a new phone every year. So I have to wait for tax time again. Please, if you're going to go for a new phone, stay clear of Samsung Galaxy, specifically the A15, unless you're spending over 800$. Don't do it. You'll regret it. And always spend the extra to get insurance, I could have fixed this problem possibly if I had got the insurance at the time of purchase.

A Great Phone That Won't Break The Bank

The Samsung A15 5G is a terrific phone with all the features you need and nothing you don't. A solid performer with great specs at an attractive price point - from the camera to the 5G capabilities to the decently capable processor and memory capacity, this device is more than enough phone for the vast majority of users. If you don't need the prestige of the newest flagship model, the Samsung A15 5G is a great option.

Don't buy this phone!

If you are looking at this Galaxy A15 phone, keep scrolling! This is a very poor phone, in my opinion. The phone comes with a year warranty and you will need it! In just over one years time, I have gone through four (4) A15 phones. They only work properly for 2 and a half to 3 months, then start acting up. Verizon gives the disclaimer, when replacing the phone, "that if they find nothing wrong with the phone, you will be charged for the replacement phone. In the three phones that I have had replaced, I was never charged for any of them. So the phones must have been BAD! (I have my phone in a very good case to help protect it) Verizon did not want to warranty the last phone (even though the 1 year warranty was not up yet), so I reminded them that I had been a customer for 12 years that always paid my bill on time and in full and that there were other cell phone carriers, looking for new customers. They reluctantly replaced it, but sadly, it is a couple months old and starting to act up now. The A15's studder, they freeze up, the apps that are running will shut down or stop, sometimes if trying to run more than one app or switch between apps. The screen will scroll when trying to open apps sometimes. Often when trying to open one app, when pressing on that icon, a different app will open. Often, you can tap an icon and nothing happens, even after repeated taps (sometimes things just won't open). As time goes on, the phone slows down, way down. You will need to go into the devise care part of the phone and optimize it daily or every other day to help keep it functioning at a reasonable speed or it is even worse. You will also need to power it down or restart every few days to help it function correctly. This is a poor phone at best, I believe that it has too many features and too little processor. Save your money, spend a couple more bucks and buy a different phone or save two old soup cans and pull the laces out of your old work boots and use that as a phone. It will work just as well!

Even though memory capacity is good but it is very very slow! Cannot run 2 applications simultaneously without serious delay and lags! Is only good as a phone only with minimum apps or browsers

Not worth getting

This phone is not worth getting, it freezes, keyboard takes forever to pull up, can't switch apps without going back to where you was, once you have over a certain amount of apps which don't have to be a lot it starts moving very slow, in my opinion this is the worst samsung phone I have ever had to this point, it's okay for someone that is using it for just calls, texts and picture but I still wouldn't recommend this to anyone, it's so bad that when I'm done paying it off I will be selling it cause it is not worth keeping

This phone has trouble connecting to verizon. Even when the battery has a full charge, I've had to power it off and then power it on for it to send my text messages. It's just not a reliable phone. I like Samsung products, but this one is sub-par.
