Why is everyone swearing by phone drop life span. We’re in a time that iPhones instashatter backs and screens are long gone. I’ve had an iPhone 12 pro max for 1.25 years with tempered glass screen protector on face. I drop my phone from waist high or higher on tile concrete asphalt rocks corners or at least 7x / day and as many as way worse than that. My phone still works great my screens and back have never been replaced I change out screen cover every few months for a few dollars. The early 2000s are over. Welcome to a time where you can both have a phone that’s highly durable and also comes with technology like LiDAR. This LiDAR performance on a technically capable level of Legit infield surveying hardware thousands upon thousands of dollars more than a new iPhone but you just can’t order lunch from your lasers. Pointers phones feature of being “durable“ is it not even notable yes you’re having to sacrifice on countless other features or potential restrictions depending on your choice

Short-term rugged, not long-term durable.

I've had this phone for 1⅔ years, and I'm paying it off early to get something else. The phone is rugged as advertised but degrades badly, the phone it replaced now works better. There's a haze around the edge of the screen that slowly gets bigger, the screen itself is becoming unresponsive and unpredictable, and the software is getting glitchy. The removable battery is a nice thought, but in reality the battery will outlive the phone.

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

Had my Sonim XP8 for 2 years. Held up to a lot hard use. Dropped it in a puddle once for 10 seconds, and no issues from that. Very heavy phone, but it suits me. Just paid it off. I recommend this phone.

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

This is the only phone I have not broken. I love the long extended battery life, I literally charge it every other day. I've dropped this phone more than I can count and it still works.

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

It does everything any other phone can do,. Your just not going to break it if you have a mishap. It has excellent speakers, nice camera, dedicated ptt button along with 2 other programmable buttons . Takes under water photos and accepts the 250 gig sd card. Has great reception and could easily be used as a weapon should the need arise. This phone is thick and has some weight to it but i find it the easyest to hang on to and use. It runs on android 10 and does not invade my privacy in ways other manufacturers phones do.

Phone is pretty much undestructable. As a tow truck driver I work in the rain and mud alot. I have dropped it in flood water, snow, ditches , and got it so muddy I had to spray it off with a hose.I have dropped it on concrete from 8' or more several times. It is loud ........the down falls are the camera is not that great.Earpiece on all rugged phones is lacking.Operating system hits an occasional glitch and has to be restarted.Battery life is great.

I've had this phone about a year and a half. What I like about the phone, replaceable battery, rugged case, waterproof, bright display, loud audio, lots of options. What I don't like, screen has a haze around the edge, finger print detector is terrible, camera is mediocre and the lens is all scratched up, firmware is glitchy and I have to restart it.

Answers calls without me touching the phone. Cuts off calls when a 2nd call comes in. It just sent abnoxious GIFs to two family members. This phone is awful.
